Mission Trails Regional Park is located to the north east of San Diego. As well as hiking and biking trails, the park is home to the historic Old Mission Dam.

Left: Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve is not part of Mission Trails, but is located nearby. Due to the stream, the canyon is densely vegetated, and there are some small waterfalls.
