Entrance to Eglwys Faen
Inside Eglwys Faen

This is the cave Eglwys Faen which has a number of entrances. The one to the left is easily visible from the path, and there are two further entrances a short distance away. There is a large chamber which can easily be explored on foot, and many smaller passages connecting the entrances which are best left to those with a boiler suit and helmet.

From the caves, I headed along the path in an easterly direction, back towards Abergavenny, to intercept the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal towpath.
