Anza-Borrego
Borrego Palm Canyon

Anza-Borrego Desert state park covers an enormous area to the east of San Diego. It is centred on the small town of Borrego Springs, about two hours drive from the city.

As it is such a huge park, with each area having a different character, several visits are necessary to appreciate the variety of landscapes.

The best time to visit is in the spring, while the wild flowers are in bloom and before the weather becomes too hot.
