These photographs were taken in the summer of 2004 while I was in France for the happy occasion of my friends’ wedding in the town of Sélestat. All the places are within (strenuous) walking distance of Sélestat.

Strasbourg is home to many European institutions, including the European Parliament building, and The Palace of Human Rights. The city skyline is dominated by the cathedral. Other attractions in the city include the picturesque “Petite France” district, the Palais Rohan (housing museums) and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
